She didn't see his puzzled expression at all. She shuddered though as Drannor allowed her into his head so she could watch. 'Thank you Drannor,' she said mentally. 'You're welcome, Keya,' Drannor replied.
Gem and Lindan circled each other, raining blows at each other.
Gem's sword struck once more. Her father toppled to the ground, but even as he did, the blue sword struck through Gem's brestplate, causing her to fall too. "No!" Keya shouted loud.
"My father... he managed to strike through her breastplate... that sword went right at her heart..." She grimaced. "She got skewered. He died right after doing it, she got him in the heart."
He put his hand over his face, shocked and not knowing what to do he quickly got his armor on and climbed onto Veer and looked at Keya, "Get on were going now."
He saw Drannor on the ground, Veer flapped with urgency and landed with glenawing jumping off without any patience, he ran to Drannor, "What's happening?"
Keya watched her cousin with worried eyes. Sje knew that Gem would come through in the end but it seemed like a long wait before Gem opened her eyes once more.
