Prisoner of war

He frowned, "There is nothing more powerful then elves and dragons." he paused, "What do they want?"

(What if they want there first born..)

(nope not what im thinking)

"Thatvi cannot tell you." she sighed. "The longer i leave it the more my people will suffer."

He frowned, "Keya tell me." he looked into her eyes, "If you don't trust me who will you trust?"

"You're asking me to anger them more?" she grimaced. She sighed, praying in her mind for mercy. "It's a blood sacrifice."

"Who are you going to sacrafice?" he said gaining intrest.

"It's my blood that has to be shed, no one else's," she replied.

He looked at her angerly, "You will not shed your blood for anyone, I'll tear the human gods out of the heavens if I must."

"It will not kill me," she told him. "And they will not answer you."

"They will," he siad angerly, he wondered who this 'gods' were.

"not they will not. Please, trust me," she said.

He sighed, "Alright." he kissed her, "I just don't want you to get hurt."

She smiled, gently kissing him back. She reached out finding the small dagger hidden on he other side of her bed.
"I'll be back soon alright?" sometimes she had to hurt.

He sighed, "Alright." and he stayed in the bed waiting for her.

She left the tent, only taking. Dagger with her.
She went somewhere where no one else was and then rolled her sleeve back on her left arm to her shoulder. Her forearm was badly scarred from the blood offerings shed given.
The dagger was wickedly sharp and it only took one little movement for her to break her skin and draw the circle she had to around her arm. For a minute she sat there, the blood running down her arm before she sheathed the dagger and pocketed it, before wrapping her right hand around the cut and heading back to her tent, searching for a bandage.
"This time i cannot allow magic to heal me."

He picked up the scent of fresh blood and frowned angerly.

Carefully she cleaned the long cut, turning on her side so he couldn't see how big it was. The bandage had to fall out of her hand though.

He frowned knowing she was hiding the size from him, "I smell fresh blood."

"i did just go and draw my own blood." She beat down not realizing that the cut became visible for a second as she picked the bandage up.

"Let me heal it." he said worried.

"no. No magic," she replied. "it has to heal naturally or they will demand I open it again."

"Damn your gods." he said with anger. He wished he could speak to them, he wished he could tear them from their thrones and take their place as he deserved.

"Shrely you know how to help heal things without magic?"

He shook his head, "I never learned nor did I need to."

"We'll if we're together your going to have to learn." She checked her arm. "Can you wrap this around my arm?" she held the bandage up. "Father used to help."

He nodded and wraped the band aid tightly, he muttered a spell to simply protect the wound from infection.
